Rebrand of an online gaming platform

01. Introduction

Spin Casino is a supplier of online gaming products powered by Betway with over 400 online casino games, including slots and a variety of table games such as craps, baccarat, video poker, blackjack and roulette.

02. The Challenge

Spin Casino’s Product Owner and other Managing Directors saw the need to go through a complete rebranding and repositioning of the product, which they felt was dated and was no longer reflecting who we were. They wanted the brand to have a cleaner and more fresh feel to it.

03. Competitor Analysis

The design team started by doing a competitor analysis to collect and review the visual identity of our rivals and to understand where in the market we wanted to be positioned.

04. Product Positioning

We worked on a product positioning map taking into consideration the other brands we were working with, the position of Spin Casino at the time and where we wanted to position the New Spin Casino brand.

05. Mood Board

We then created a mood board to visually represent the stylistic direction we wanted to propose and gather consensus from stakeholders.
